Construction Site Maintenance (Single Family)

You will be responsible for the overall maintenance of construction sites and new homes under construction.
Supporting the Construction Site Manager, you will ensure homes under construction are cleaned at specific stages
of development as well as ensuring external construction sites are safely maintained.
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of new home construction practices is considered an asset
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills

Senior Accountant (Single Family)
Competition Number: LGB-09-10
You will supervise the day to day operations of the company’s accounting functions while ensuring accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles. Core duties include assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting. You will also assist with cash flow management and prepare bank reconciliations and conduct account analysis. You will also correspond with financial institutions and mortgage representatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting
- Professional Accounting Designation preferred (CGA or CMA)
- 4 to 5 years progressive accounting experience in the residential building industry
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, principles of cost control, and generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience with automated financial and accounting systems
- Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product line profitability analysis
- Basic knowledge of Real Estate law
